getting proof of no claims discount

im having serious issues trying to get proof of no claims discount from my old insurer. they seemingly keep fobbing me off that its on its way etc

my new insurer (direct line) requires a copy of the original within 30 days of the policy starting.

is there anything more i can do to force the issue?

Last time I had to do this my previous insurers were being awkward so I just sent a printout of an online policy summary and they accepted it.

i never got a renewal invitation or anything this year just asked to call the office (swinton)

i fear by the time it takes them to send another the deadline will be up for my new insurer. (30 days)

i may just go into my local branch and refuse to leave till they give me a new one.

Ask them to email, admiral email a copy of all my docs to me on request.

You can also give the details to direct line, they should chase for you.

Get on the phone to your new insurer and explain that the old guys are being a pain in the backside. Give them all your details and they should be able to phone your old insurer and get the info straight from them.
