getting really miffed now

ok so i've been playing avp this morning got the disc through today you had to install steam to play it now when i'm trying to launch it says this game is temporarily unavailable please try later

WTF i paid for the disc and the game and i can't play it people are right steam is ****

Im guessing it runs through steam then! At least you have your copy, you can look at the shiny case. Im still waiting for play to deliver mine

I hate it when games make you use Steam, I don't mind it as an option but it shouldn't be forced on us.

i don't get how it can be unavailable when it's taking up 15gig of my hard drive

Close steam, delete the 'clientregistry.blob' file in the steam folder and restart steam, should fix the issue.

Disconnect from the internet and restart steam, go into offline mode and then plug the internet back in, game should start fine as it wont try to connect to steams servers
