hi
i recently changed the ram in my system to the ocz pc6400c4 ram and also changed the sound card to an xifi extreme music 7.1. now Ive been getting bsod regularly over the last week. used to get them 1 or twice before i changed the parts. now i know their is a log every time i get a bsod. can i ask where this is and how do i read it/find out what it means?

thanks for any help

recently i restored my pc from an earlier backup which was done after a fresh install to see if it would get rid of the problems. went through the bios and realized that the voltage for the ram was set on auto. have now set it to about 2.1v as i believe that what it should be. now over last 2 days i have had 4-5 bsod. how do i go about finding what the problem is?

ive got the modded drivers installed which are quite recent plus its not an audigy like sig says. its an xifi music and also ram has been changed to the ocz that ocuk had on offer for £25 need to update my sig
now i know after each bsod there is a dump. can i ask how do you read and diagnose this?

have had about 5 bsod yesterday alone.
the codes that came up are
0x0000008e
STOP 0x0000007f.
0x0000000a

now i hear the 7f error could be due to faulty motherboard or ram. now ive tested the ram through memtest86 and windows memory tool and its passed both of them. how would i go about testing themotherboard

i reset the bios to default and just set the memory to the right timing which i believe are 4-4-4-12 with volts at 2.085. running stock and have had no bluescreens. wondering if i might be due to having something on in the bios when it shouldnt have been
