Hi,
I'm wanting to get rid of my desktop computer and move over to a laptop, mainly as the desktop takes up too much space and I would imagine I can get the equivalent gaming performance out of a laptop these days.
My current desktop spec (which hasn't been upgraded in about two years) is:
Intel i5-2500k CPU
Gigabyte P67A-UD4
12GB RAM
Radeon 7950 3GB Black Edition
1TB HDD
I have around £1000 to spend, give or take, I'm happy to go a bit higher if need be. I don't actually do a lot of PC gaming these days but I would like a laptop capable of running everything as close to maxed out as possible, as I do end up playing something every so often.
I mainly use my PC nowadays for watching films/TV shows and listening to music, and I have a Samsung 32" TV. I would like to be able to hook the laptop upto the TV via HDMI for when I'm watching films/TV on the laptop (and for gaming if possible but I don't know if the laptop would be capable of this?)
I would like the laptop to be equivalent (or much better ofc) power level to my current desktop, obviously not wanting to downgrade performance.
Any recommendations/some choices I should consider?
Thanks
