Getting Rid Of Moobs

Hey All,

For the last 5 weeks ive been gyming a lot, mainly HIIT style cardio and occasionally weights and stuff, seen good results - lost about 11 lbs noticeable from my face, waist, legs and arms.

But i by man boobs are not going :(

Im 5"10/11 and weight 183lbs (was 194)

Im eating a lot healthier too, no chocolate, crips etc..

Any good excercises or anything i can do to help lower these bad boys?
 
Try and eat lots of small meals throughout the day. Have a handful of nuts and a natural yoghurt between breakfast and lunch and then possibly an apple or something between lunch and dinner, this will help speed up your metabalism. Try and make your dinners lower in carbs. An example of a good dinner without so many carbs is 200g's of turkey and a head of broccoli, this way all of your carbs are coming from fibrous veg.

add a run in the morning before your breakfast maybe? Also could try having a couple of cups of green tea a day as this is the main ingredient in many fat loss pills. Make sure your drinking enough water.
 
Must just be down to genetics I suppose then? It must be the last place you loose your fat, so you'll have to just keep running haha :D
 
Just curious Dan - which gym are you using?

The only one I can think of is FF and they love to rip you off.
 
The moobs will be getting smaller in terms of the fat content, but that and your gut will be one of the final places to lose the fat.

One of the main things that will have contributed to the moobs will be alcohol, if you still have your drinks with your mates they will not go as quickly.
 
you've just got to stay commited and determined and you'll get there in the end. i've lost some where between 2 and 3 stone my self over the last year and it does get frustrating when you dont see results but it just made me more determined.

As mentioned above, just keep at it. Fitness is not a short term solution but a lifestyle, I can guarantee that you will eventually lose the moobs in due course.

Hit the benchpress to tighten up the pecs and keep up with the cardio. :)
 
Just keep working at it mate, it will come off eventually. You can't just target one are to remove fat, it all comes off your whole body gradually and I'm pretty sure the "moobs" as you call them will be smaller already but it won't be so easy to tell when you are losing fat all across your body.

Keep up the good work mate. Seeing your body change really motivates you doesn't it, I've lost over a stone since November when I started running. I continued running in the New Year but also started doing a weights workout. I'm a stone lighter but with added muscle. I'm just starting to put weight back on now, I hope it's muscle anyway! :p


What's your diet like? As has been mentioned, eat several smaller meals throughout the day to keep your matabolism working and burning calories. As an example my typical diet each day is something like this:


6.30amBreakfast - bowl of porridge, banana

Gym
8.45am Post-workout protein shake with 50g whey, 50g oats (ready break) in water

11.30am -Wholemeal pitta with mackeral or tuna salad and avacado

2.00am - Tuna or chicken sandwich with light mayo. Apple and a yohurt.

4.00pm - 50g whey protein shake in water. Few walnut halves as a snack.

6.00pm - Chicken breast with vegetables. Sometimes beef/pork/lamb

9.00pm - Protein shake with 50g whey, 50g oats.



I'm not saying my diet is perfect but I am getting results from it. If you post your diet we can help tweak it for you to help you get the most out of your trips to the gym. :)
