It'll make windows use the ram.
Empty RAM is wasted money.

Best bet is create a RAM disc and put the pagefile on that.
Or look into "altered" versions of windows.

Some people say windows is abit more responsive with no pagefile if you have 4gb ram, I havent bothered disabling it, no need to really.

Unless you're running from SSD, there is NO reason to remove the page file, and a whole bunch of reasons not to.

Windows XP and above only use the page file for reserved, unused memory. Then only once the RAM is full of memory in use does it start to page.

I wouldn't disable your page file, no matter how much RAM you have.

Windows will automatically use all your RAM and then go to the pagefile - but for certain programs it is a necessity to have one, and said programs will refuse to run without it.

The pagefile is an intricate part of the OS (Vista) and is required for the best overall performance and operation of it....I would not delete/remove it!
