Getting Round An FTP Problem?

Im at uni and i have my own webserver but of course my uni blocks the ftp port, are there any websites that let you access ftp through html if you catch my drift.

I do have a control panel but it doesnt use internet ports.

I need to be able to access my webserver as it has a website and forums running on it.

Works a treat!! No need for FTP and it is free for personal use.

I am home now but i cant seem to get this thing to work ive put the wexlite folder in my root folder but when i type the address in.

http://mywebserver.com/wexlite/

it doesnt work, just comes up with a list of files.

Yer its what im after but i cant seem to get it to work on my server...

I need to be able to upload to my server.

No i dont even get a page to do that like i said

just brings up a list of files and folders in that directory not a upload page.

No thats the whole point, i dont want to use ftp ports at uni, i need to be doing it through http://

Hmmm cant get anything to work.

I dont really wanna change host as i get it free as my mate pays for it and has set me up a sub account on his account.

And as im a student free is good.
