Getting sick of my k750i

I'm on my second one and my joystick has gone AGAIN! It's so random. Somtimes it'll work fine then sometimes - bam nothing. What would you guys recommend? I'm going to phone vodafone up and have a moan. I'm on contract as well.

Oh and by the way - last time they said i could only have a 10 day old phone. Shouldn't I get brand new? I pay £7.50 a month for insurance as well :/
 
I always find pushing down on the joystick really hard and moving it to all extreme positions sorts it out for a few more days... bit of a rubbish design but basically they all fail after a while :(
 
dunno what you guys are doing with yours.... but on my K700 and K750 ive had zero problems. just be gentle? :P

Send it off for repair I reckon, if it happens 2 times more they then replace the whole handset.
 
Well my joystick keeps going too. Currently left and right are being loved by it.

But now which makes me laugh as its just another thing thats gone wrong. When I open the camera shutter the camera doesn't come on. woo! so I have to gain access to *** camera via the main menu. And even if the shutter is shut (normally tells you to open it up,) it still looks for a picture. The phone thinks the camera lens is open 24/7 and I can't seem to fix it.

Tempted to take it apart soon and see if a wire has come loose. What can I loose. Its good on paper but the joystick is a joke.


Upgrade in May though. Tempted by yet again Sony Ericsson and one of their 3mega pixel cameras.
 
Yeah all SEs come with 2 yr warranty IIRC. It'll be free of charge to repair and only be gone for 3-5 days!
 
Mine has had one problem, It is ever so hard to cahrge, it keeps saying "Optimized charging" but is not actualyl charging, you have to fiddle so bad with the cable to get it to charge. (Sorry if that sounded wrong :D"
