I've got a couple of basic questions about this board, i have 1066 rated ddr 2 memory and it is set to auto, does this mean it's running at that freq or do i have to set to manual and choose that freq myself?

Just one last basic question i know the FSB affecs the speed of the memory and CPU, whats a safe amount to increase this by if you just want to get a little extra speed but not go into a lot of detail like changing mem/cpu voltages or other settings, i know the overlock may only be very small but thats ok, i'm just starting out here and want to keep things nice and simple

I have a 8500, which is 3.16 would i be able to get 3.3 or 3.4 just by increasing the fsb speed and not have to worry about voltages or destabilsing my ram? i know the memory speed would increase too but it's running at stock at the moment 1066 so i think there's headroom there too, i'd like a nice easy conservative overclock just to get me on the way, so don't want to mess with to many settings or push the hardware to hard

If i increased the fsb to get that speed how would it afect my ram freq? i'm quite new to overclocking so sorry if any of this is really basic, i read the guide in OC section but there was not much mention of memory in there so i'm not so sure how much the FSB freq changes it by
