getting songs off i pod

Hi,
Read the Apple website and they say you cant do this so wondered if you guys knew a way around it,
I had to format my computer so lost all my tunes in the iTunes Library, But still have them all on my iPod, is tehre any way of getting them off my iPod back to iTunes?
Also if i sync my ipod now will that wipe it as theres no songs on my comp?

Hi mate, download a program call 'sharepod'. its free and does exactly what you need and should keep all ID version tags in place too. Its a great program !
