Hi guys,

Just received Crysis today (I don’t intend to play it tho until I finish work for the xmas holidays…), I want to know what sort of specs people have got in order to get the best out of the game?

I tried out the demo and that ran okay, but on full it was well laggy on near max settings.

Atm, I’ve got a E2160, 2 GB ram and a 512 MB 2900xt.

I’ll be overclocking the E2160 soon, to at least, hopefully 3 GHz. I may also be getting a Q6600 for xmas :D

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

SW.

And Ocing definitely helps in Crysis. Running my quad at 2.4 is noticeably slower and less smooth than when OCed to 3.2GHz

indeed overclocking helps, more on the graphics card though TBH, also turn shadow quality down to medium, water quality to medium, physics quality to medium and volumetric to medium, should give decent performance increase over high settings without dimming the graphics much
