I recently grabbed myself a i5-3570K + Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H + Corsair Platinum 1866, I am wondering what is the best way to get the best out of my CPU for a reliable and long lasting overclock. I have seen some people say about disabling boost then others saying keep it on, I do Photoshop editing and playing most new games specifically BF3. So what would be best for this.

Boost or no boost makes no difference really, it's just to do with heat and power saving. I have discovered this is negligible. If you have a nice 4.5GHz overclock with nice voltage I'd just leave it at that, my 4.5GHz need's 1.29V which I'm not really happy with even though it's fine. I run 4.2GHz with EIST/turbo overclock and turn my fans down, only needs 1.16V.
