I would like my PC overclocked as I don't currently have much money to upgrade the hardware, I will be using the PC to use for CAD and 3D modelling.

Here are the current PC specs:

*Operating System
MS Windows 7 64-bit

*CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 39 °C
Kentsfield 65nm Technology

*RAM
2.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz (5-5-5-18)

*Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5N32-E SLI (Socket 775) 40 °C

*Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1)
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1)
Trying to get the SLI to work on Win 7 64. I will use two monitors once set-up.

*Hard Drives
244GB NVIDIA MIRROR 232.88G (RAID 1)

*Optical Drives
HP DVD Writer 1040d ATA Device
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S202H ATA Device

*Audio
SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio

I have good IT knowledge myself but never overclocked before.

Anybody have any tips to get the most from my machine?

Regards,

James
