I have just purchased a new GFX Card, the 7600GT and the rest of the spec is as below:

P4 3.2 prescott running at 3.4Ghz
1GB Dual Channel PC3200 Geil Ram
7600GT
80GB IDE & 200GB Sata

Whats the best way to maximise the performance for gaming? I dont understand all this AA AF business.

No idea. You can basically bet 10 percent at least to start. So nudge it up by that, test with a game/3d mark a few times.

THen taise it by smaller increments of like 20MHZ or so till you find problems.

Run the nvidia drivers at "Quality" with the "Optimisations On". Should give you a little bit of a speed boost as well.

AA = removes jaggy lines. The more AA you have, the smoother things look, however the more performance you loose. Try x2AA.

AF = how clear textures look in the distance. The more AF you use, the more crisp and less blurred textures are. This doesn't give as much a performance hit as AA, so try x4AF for a good blend of IQ and Speed.

EDIT: Obviously if you just want the best performance, force these OFF.

Im guessing these are set in the performance options in the game?

The potentials with a voltmod on a 7600GT are pretty high as well. :) Although if considering something like that, an aftermarket cooler is essential.
