Getting the most out of my current mobo...

Hi there,
Currently have the setup below, and am looking to upgrade it as far as possible without getting a new motherboard and basically whole new system!
So far, I've bought a new x2 6000+, as this is just about the highest CPU the motherboard can handle - Abit didn't release a bios update to support phenoms before they shut down. Have also got 2gb more ram.
Need to add a video card, new PSU and a cooler. Have about £300 to spend. Want reasonable games performance, but just as importantly want quiet running when idle. Not fussed about overclocking, and have heard that the 6000+ won't do too well anyway.
Was thinking of:
OcUK value GTX260 - will this system bottleneck this card? How good a card is it worth getting for this mobo / CPU?
Be quiet dark power pro 750W (is this about the right amount of power?)
Sunbeam core contact freezer
Sound reasonable?
Any changes?
Cheers

More random internet searching.
Nvidia site says the GTX 260 needs a 500W psu - so either of those two are fine.
But, i also read somewhere else that it needs a 36A 12V rail.
Not really sure what that means.
The Be Quiet 550W has 4 20A 12V rails.
Is this OK?
And... stupid newbie question... what are voltage rails?
