Getting the paint they use for white lines off paintwork?

Hi all,

Have a load of this splattered all over the bottom 6" of the O/S of my car. No idea how long it has been there (Left the car with Mother for a month whilst I was away and discovered it today).

What's the best way to remove it? I gave the car a good wash today and clay- barred, etc, and some of it did come off, but there are still a lot of reminants.

more clay-bar I think, would be the safest way.

I don't think the clay bar is going to remove it.... I was really giving it some welly and I couldn't get anymore off.

The council ended up forking out compensation round my area when they retarmaced a road badly, it broke up and left hundreds of people with tar spattered over their car...
