Getting this error while trying to install WOW

Trying to install WOW again and I am getting this error message, I have tried 3 times to install it now using 2 copies of the game.



Any ideas?

Crashed on disc 3 and disc 4 now.

Most probable. Would be my guess anyway. First thing to try swapping out if you can.

I haven't got a spare DVD drive, for the sake of it I could just buy a new one. Wouldn't mind a dual layer one anyway.

Is it possible to download the trial (which i think is the full version anyway). Then upgrade your account using the CD key in the box.

I had the exact same error installing a different game a few months ago. Changed DVD drive and it worked fine. Sounds like you'll have to replace yours.

Couldn't you use ISObuster to extract the data and then try install it that way?

Another vote for a bad CD drive. I also had the same problem.
