this is the message i get on boot ....
cant find target.ini: D:\drivers\chipset\driver\chipset\asus setup_hotfix.ini
hope this is a bit clearer..
strange because D is my disc writer ??? forgot to mention this is a new build
any ideas what could be causing it..
mother board is an asus Z77 sabertooth , chipset is an intel 1.5 ivybrige 3570

Can your PC boot into safe mode if it can try this. If you have access to a laptop or any other PC, Go to Asus Website and download the new driver for your chipset , Put the driver on a pen drive, Boot the PC into safe mode and install the driver, Reboot and it should work

comp is working fine just getting this message on opening windows, thats what is so strange the chipset drivers installed fine this only stated after i had fully updated everything from microsoft..

Um have you uninstalled the driver and redownloaded it ? Have you gone to Intel and downloaded the driver from there, if not try uninstalling and downloading that driver from there

i will sortthat over the wekend after a reformat to clean everything up...i expected a few hiccups so i havent really done much with the comp until everything is running smoot,i have downloaded the chipset utillity from intel and will sort it over the weekend when i have more time...but thanks muchly for your help...
