Hi,

What's the best device out there to get three displays up and running off a Dell E6510 Laptop ?

I have two 24" Dell LCD's and the laptop screen itself, but it'll only show two at one time. Is there any hardware I can buy, that'll allow me to extend it to three screens, one of them being the laptop screen ?

This is NOT for gaming, just general desktop use and spreadsheets etc.

So, you're going to use the EVGA product to give you one extra external monitor, and then the laptop's VGA out for the second external monitor, is that right?

I have a Matrox TripleHead2Go but have had issues getting the monitor resolution I want. When I have time I'll see if it has a software update, but it has not been ideal.

Rgds

Yes, I guess, not rec'd the item yet so there will be a little playing around. But that's what I'm assuming it's going to do. Happy that it has EVGA's name on the tin and that it's not some unknown Chinese junk.

I bought a similar (also displaylink but branded kensington) product for my macbook and it works great, you can easily see the lag moving windows around rapidly but for relatively static displays its fine.
