Had a letter delievered saying they are holding a parcel which has VAT charges on it.

The number they told me to ring on the letter rings, but no one ever answers.

The main Bristol depot number has an automated system, which doesn't recognise my address when I speak it in.

And when i choose to speak to an operator....I'm waiting on hold forever.

17 days later, and I still haven't got through to them.

My local depot used to have a local number. Then they moved and it went to an automated national number that didn't work, and when it gave up and tried to connect to a real person, there were enormous queues. I complained, and so did the staff of the local depot (and presuably other cheesed off punters). Now they've put it back to a number that connects to the depot although an 0845 number. Works great now :) I can actually get an answer for if my parcel is actually there before I leave, instead of "it should be".
