I'm travelling to the States shortly and am looking to buy Vista Ultimate.
As there's a massive price difference across the pond obviously getting Vista in the States seems a good option.
Can anyone forsee any problems? If I activate from the UK, will it cause issues as it was purchased in the US?
I also gather that the upgrade versions will require an existing installation of XP to upgrade from. I have an XP PRO license through work but having to reinstall XP first whenever I will inevitably (come on, it's not going to be rebuild free) have to reinstall. What about a few years down the road when XP will have no idea of your new hardware.
So, is buying in the States and installing from here going to give me grief?
