Getting wireless on 360

It is possible to get another wireless access point and wire this upto the ethernet on your 360. Depending upon the make you may find that you need a crossover cable rather than a straight ethernet cable, also some WAPs will only talk to each other if you have no other clients ie a point to point between two WAPs neither of which can be used for other wireless clients.

Another option would be a Wireless ethernet bridge, OCUK sell them for approx 40 quid but you may have problems with encryption especially WPA.

Hopefully they will drop in price in the coming months or someone along the lines of joytech will sell a cheaper competing product. Its possible to pick up the official xbox wireless adapter for 54.99 inc delivery, but please do not ask where as I cant say.

you really are best up just getting he microsoft one mate, its really very good, amazingly compact bit of kit, clips nicely onto the back of the xbox360 and does its job great too. I picked up mine 2nd hand, used once, mint condition for £38

You can get a wireless ethernet bridge for around £35.

I've gone this route and it works fine, even streaming films off my computer as long as there's no contention for the wireless signal.

ive looked on a few sites and the cheapest i can find is £54 too but it seems a tad much at the minute. I may take a look around town see if can find one some where cheapish dont have that much disposable income at the minute :(
