At what resolution and settings though? These guys are acting like it can't run any 'proper' 3D games whatsoever. I doubt most OEM PCs have monitors capable of above 1280x1024.

If you/she wants to play games on that PC then you could just buy a cheap graphics card and you will be able to play most games. It's a good PC really.

Alternatively, see if you can pick up a 2nd hand 8800GT, or 9800GT, essentially the same card.
What power supply have you got inside that box? Can you let us know the power output, and any other details on it such as 12v Amps and 5.5v Amps? (if it has them written on the side - some do)
