GFWL - Adding Physical Games

I bought GoW when it first arrived on the PC and was wondering if I could add they key to GFWL in a similar fashion to Steam?

Don't think you can. Not heard of anyone doing that.

if it is supported yes you can. it works exactly like steam ie. code from game manual into gwfl. but i dont know if gow has that option/supported.
try and find out.

They do not support that at all on any game yet. You can only add redeem codes if you have them which do unlock the full digital game.

When US PC gamers pre-ordered Bulletstorm from GFWL they got a free digital copy of GOW via redeem codes which were sent out in the last week but it was a US only offer like so many MS offers why on earth they restrict to the US only is ridiculous licensing rules as US GFWL also offers a lot more games/offers than other regions

because the US shows M$ more love than the other regions and have less stupid regulations that restrict what M$ can and cant do.

Games for windows marketplace can be expensive. Take GTA4 for example, i purchased a copy from GAME UK retail for £12.99., it also came with 2 extra dvd's of Episodes from Liberty City, the lost and damned and the ballad of gay tony, lol. On GFWL Marketplace UK, you can download the GTA4 game and it will cost you £19.99, the lost and damned download will cost you £6.75 and the ballad of gay tony will cost you £9.99. On GFWL Marketplace the sum total is £36.73, so if you buy from GAME retail shop for example you will save £23.74.

This can apply to any game though GFWM do sales like last year when Bioshock1 was 99 pence or Age Of Empire3 was 10 pence! All the digital distributors have high prices when no sales are on so buyer beware as GTA4 complete was what £7.49 a few weeks ago from D2D & Steam also sold it for £5 @ Xmas so never a good time to buy it!

What happens is outside of sales the games all go back up to the full price to catch the few who do not know about the sales so pay full whack!
