Wish overclockers would do a special as i want to buy all my new kit from them.

Is it just a standard 660Ti? Or the Power Edition? If it's the Power Edition then that's a pretty good deal. If it's just a reference model then this one is cheaper if you really don't want to try AMD:

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GTX 660Ti Black Knight OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £215.99
Total : £226.79 (includes shipping : £9.00).

£220 delivered and you can claim assasins creed 3 for free. Again its from another supplier.
Definatley the power edition. Its only £20 cheaper than overclockers but its still £20

The 7950 for £229 is a really good price. Nvidia really need to sort out this 660 pricing. The top of the line 660ti should be no more than 200 imo.

I have a gtx 460 and its not worth me upgrading to less than a ti however I'm not going to get butt raped for the pleasure. When the gtx 460 1gb came out you could easily get the custom cards for under 200.

Again thanks everyone for all the advice.

Theres a lot to take in but after reading all the replys i am going to take
your advice and leave the 660ti alone and maybe go for the 660.
Can i throw a spanner in the works and ask what if i could up my budget to say
£275-£300 is there a clear winner idealy from Nvidia?

yeah, the 670 is great.

about the non-Ti 660, they are also a bit overpriced. they cost £180-190 atm which is jokes, there was one going for £160 for the first few weeks of december, but got no idea what happened to that price...

Same old pedantic story, yet again with skewed(usually dated) performance results thrown in. :(

From the 66/78 series up to 7970/680, they are all good cards in their own right, there are no bad cards tbph, the only bad about them is Nvidia's pricing-the equivalent performing card is priced above AMD's=performing variant.

If it simply must be Nvidia for whatever reason, pay the premium, whatever it may be.

On a side note, this is overclockers forum, not the Nvidia forum, of course there's going to be suggestions of alternative vendor solutions.

:)

Yep it was the MSI one, I got one as I thought £160 was a decent price. They've shot up in price now tho.

This is the issue, the 7950 matches the GTX670, that's why people suggest them so often.
