GFX car Brands

Always wondererd why some brands are more expensive than other? For example the difference between a BFB, EVGA, Gainworld, Leadtek, point of view & Asus in the 280 range. I know some cards have higher clock speeds but surely its the same gear with different stickers?? Will a BFG run better than a Asus at the same clock speed ?

As for the differences in price for the big boys (EVGA and BFG) it pretty much relates to warranty length and quality of customer service. Asus do tend to costs a slight premium and then the others pull up the rear.

You're right about them being the same though. MOst come out of the same facories and just get different stickers slapped on.

I've happily used EVGA and BFG in the past but as i don't tend to keep hardware long i've used makes with 2 year warranties recently.
