Hi all, right I am after a new graphics card/ cards, but I am not sure what to go for. I am not a big gamer but I do play now and then.
I am thinking of getting a HD 7850 now and then another one later on, what sort of performance would this give me? compared to a GTX 680?

Thanks
Dan

Why get a 7850 when you already got a 6950? While the 7850 is indeed faster, but it would still be more of a sideway move. If you only game every now and then, the 6950 should do fine. And if you want a little or grunt, just overclock the card.

If you don't game very often then it's pointless spending over £200 on a card, there is a HIS on This Week Only for £186 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-052-HS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=411) or if you want Nvidia the 570 is £180 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-152-GW&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1010).

You can check out a comparison of the two here - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=518

Few pros and cons to each but have a look at the benchmarks for the sorts of games you play and how important heat/noise are and make a decision from there.
