Gfx card/CPU cooler question

If I put the graphics card this close to the CPU cooler in the first slot would there be any issues? There's about 1mm or 2mm in between the two

That's the Gigabyte Z87 OC? You can put the graphics card in the third slot and it should still run at 16x.
