So my graphics card died the other day, a little dated now an 8800 GTS 640 OC from BFG, i remember these cards had either a lifetime warranty or 10 year warranty one of the two but im certain its still under warranty. Just wanted to know what i need to do in order to get this sorted as ive never actually had hardware die on me before, i must be one of the lucky ones... or atleast untill now. Also im not certain if ill be able to find the receipt anyone aware if these can be reattained from OCUK as a previous order? im guessing not on the latter. Thanks in advance all.

And also if i cant get a replacement was wondering what a good value for money (with a high performance as possible) card would be.
 
No way Neo! My 8800 GTS (Point of View) died on Wednesday night too!

It apparently has 3 year warranty and I need to go back to the people who I originally bought it from, no big deal.

I couldn't be bothered to wait all that time and took advantage of the ATI 4890 offer on at OcUK.

This is the second every graphics card to die on me, although I do game EXTENSIVLEY. This is over the past 6-8 years. On average my cards last around 3 before dying/replacing.

When did you buy your 8800 originallly? Mine was Feb2007!
