Hi guys

Never realised what a minefield it was buying a simple graphics card!

I've upgraded my system to an E6750 / 4gb ram / 2x raptors raided. What I'm now looking for is a suitable gfx card with a budget of £200 or less which will compliment my Samsung 52" 1080p LCD TV at 1920x1080 res.

over to the pro's.....

Thanks in advance

For under £200 it would have to be the 8800GT. If you could go up to £230 then you could get a OcUK 8800GTX which would be better than the GT at 1080p

My 8800GT is managing the likes of COD4, TF2 and Gears easily at 1920x1080, AA on the first two just not Gears since I'm on XP and can't be arsed using the tweak to get it working.

Well, decided to go for the OC 8800 GTX after seeing the identical card on competitors sites for almost £300....

I was a little unsure after glancing through the threads which discuss the comparison between the new breed of GTS and old GTX cards but what the hell....I've ordered one now so let's hope I made the right choice :)

Thanks to all that contributed.
