GFX Card in a Shuttle SG33G5

I have been looking at the compatibility list on the shuttle web site and been finding it hard to find a decent graphics card to fit into this box which i can use to play games. I know i can get a 8800GTS dual slot in there but the side sticks out.

Does anyone know of a card that can perform better or borderline as a 8800gts that i can fit into this box, power it and have it actually run without it dying.

The box psu is only 250W which is more than enough.

From the compat list i think the Leadtek WinFast Geforce 9600GT 512MB is the best second is the 8600?

which gts? 512mb?

on the compat list it says it supports MSI R4850-T2D512, so a 4850? faster than a 512mb gts.

BUT 250w psu will not handle it. I dont think a 250w psu could handle a 88gts either.

well i played cysis on the shuttle with my 88gts sticking out the side and it worked fine, i was waiting for it to cut out but it didnt.

The MSI R4850-T2D512 looks like its a double slot, how can it appear on the list if you cannot get it in without modding

Just seems to be a 4850 single-slot version. But I really dont think it would be a good idea using it with a 250w psu.

i guess my safest option is a 9600GT but i need to find a single slot card

so basically the card you want doesnt have to be on the compat list it just has to be single slot?

GIGABYTE Geforce 8800GT GV-NX88T512H-B 512MB

thats on the list and is close to 512 gts performance.

yeah thats right, oh the gigabyte i think i will giev that a go if i can find a supplier
