Ok here's the story so far....
Moved my PC from study into lounge and plugged it into the HDTV. When I went to use it I noticed that I had green speckles/dots on the screen (quite a few) so I thought I would take out my components and give them a clean. Plugged everything back in all working fine

Then moved the PC back onto my monitor (month later), all fine until recently where by the green dots have started to appear again :-/. Sometimes only a few other times say around 20 or so.. Tried the gfx card in my daughters PC and it works fine. Tried her gfx card in my PC (Ti4200) and that works fine. Tried her monitor cable and that doesn't solve the problem. Checked temps (52/55).
It seems to be relating to the card, but for the life of me I cannot definately say that's my problem
Also installed newer Motherboard and gfx card drivers yet still have the same problem. Also it seems to be worse when running the PC through the HDTV rather than the monitor???? (through the HDTV I get say 100-200 speckles/dots)
In addition when it's like this the monitor/TV keeps going blank every so often for a split second.
Specs:
A64 3500+
X64 (**** software tbh - no support)
6800GT with Zalman cooler (stock)
2MB corsiar ram
430W Antec PSU
