Hi,
ive installed some games on a new pc. The games being Race Driver: Grid and Crysis. I can play them but on fast paced sequences, such as intros on both games, i get a really annoying lines appearing across the screen.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Im assuming its something to do with the refresh/frame rate?
I have my PC connected to my Onkyo TX-SR608 which is then connected to my TV (panasonic 50pz80b) all through HDMI
Ive played with all the in game settings, turning the resolution down from 1080p to 720p, ive put all other settings to Low, ive changed refresh rate from 60 to 50, Vsync makes no difference.
Ive changed resolution on the pc in the Nvidia control panel, it wont let me change the frame rate from 60.
ive reinstalled the drivers for the graphics card.
ive played with the Onkyos picture settings.
Ive looked at the TV settings, only thing ive touched is overscan.
im pretty much out of ideas and about to smash my head into a wall.
Both games are installed on SSDs as is Windows and all drivers.
The graphics card is a Zotac GTX 660 ti Amp Edition
Console gaming was so much simpler
