So as I cannot get to sleep I have been playing about with my gfx card to overclock it a bit. I'm fairly new to graphics ocing and while I have an idea what to do I'm not totally sure :p

I have a GTX 480, I downloaded MSI Afterburner which seems a pretty easy program to use. So I am uping the core and shader clocks bit by bit then using the kombuster stress test thingy to see how quick it gets to ~92c. Obviously toning down the clocks if it goes too fast. I assume thats the basics or am I wrong there ?

The bits I am confused with..... voltage do I need to touch that ? I have had a little read on interwebs and some say you shouldnt touch it, some say up it a bit to ~1.125 ish and some say take it down a bit from stock.... So well I don't know what to do with that. What does the voltage overall affect ?

Lastly mem clock.... what the hell is that for. Every where I read most people just say leave it alone. Well it must be adjustable for a reason :p should I up that or just leave it alone ?
