This might seem obvious to some of you but I'm not taking any risks. I've got myself an MSI Diamond Plus m/b and it has a 4pin molex connector on the board for the pci-e gfx card(s). However, my psu (Liberty 500w modular) also has a 6 pin SLI connector to go into the gfx card. The m/b manual says use the molex but says nothing about having the connector on the psu and the graphics card tells me to use the PSU.

Which one do I use, or do I plug in both?

Thanks

if you have a 4 pin molex on the motherboard for pci express - plug it in.
and if you have a 6 pin plug on the graphics card plug that in aswell.

i doubt the card will work properly without them plugged in.
