GFX card Question

All please see pics of my build below.

i was thinking about crossfireing my 5770 but the 2nd pci e slot is located just above a blue heatsink ? well the blue square the the right and because of the 5770 is so big it would sit on top of the heatsink (assuming this is wht it is)

would this cause a problem?

interms of heat intake? melting the plastic maybe?

that's the southbridge chip and produces very little heat. As long as the card fits there then there's nothing to worry about.
 
You'll need an adapter though to power the second card; If of course I have found the correct review.

Should work ok.

EDIT: it has two 17A rails at 12V. 103W = 8.6A so not sure it can feed both cards on one rail.....

I would get a second opinion.

The 5770 requires one 6 pin power connector and is suggested for use with a 450W.
I would expect it to work fine but ATi would probably suggest a larger PSU.
