gfx card software

hi all

seeing how i think my gfx card is overheating and on it s way out only bought this from overclockers 6 months ago lol aswell.
seeing how i think its going does any1 know of any software i could download or buy that will prove that my gfx card is corrupt please?

its a 7900 gs 256 mb card i bought from overclockers only 6-8 months ago

ok then , install ATItool and when its installed you want to click on the scan for artifacts button and that might give you a indication if the card is on the way out.

how have you come to the conclusion that your card is on the way out?

because artefacts have started appearing on screen and the card isnt overclocked or nothing???

edit:

just tryed installing ati tools and its says error this programe will now close?
is this programe only for ati cards?
mine is a nvidia 7900 gs 256 mb card.

sounds like its on the way out then, thats happend to be before.
if you run the test using ATItool and you see artifacts thats a bad sign

my comp would nt let me install ati tools though as its an nvidia card?

finnaly got ati tools to work and im gutted lol heres a screenie for the artefactsit found

Download 3dMark 06 and run the deep freeze test, that'll tell you if its borked.

Yeah you can grab it here , just let it run through the tests, and if your cards buggered it wont get past the Deep Freeze one, everyone uses that to test their 7900 to see if its borked.

lol half a gig im only on 2 meg bb is there any other smaller app i can download as thats to big m8 ?
