Hi,

I was wondering what would be the best card(s) to put into my current (soon to be replaced) rig.

I have an Abit IP-35 pro board with an 8800GT, q6600 and 4GB ram.

I want to upgrade my gfx card and use the box as a GPU cruncher while i use a new system for gaming.

What is the best card I can get that is compatible with the IP-35 pro?

thanks a lot in advance

Need to know if it is some crappy generic brand PSU, or a decent brand capable PSU.

If it is a crappy generic brand 650W, I wouldn't recommend any graphic card that use more than a single PCI-E 6pin power, so a 6850 max.

Its a decent one, the rig is an OCUK gaming machine. Think its Hyper.

not sure, but had one of the old red Hiper PSU's in my oldest OCUK gaming box (has one of those classic coolermaster cases with the rubber handle on the top!).

Been on the go for years without problems, its my dads linux box now.

either way, my PSU is a good quality one and was powerful enough to support 2 8800GT's in SLI.

So - the board I have is an Abit IP-35 pro, what is the best GPU I can get for it?
