gfx card upgrade is this worth it

Is it worth upgrading from a geforce 8800 oc 360 meg to a geforce gtx 260 run screen at 1680 x 1050 and currently score around 10600 in 3d mark 2006 how much faster is the 260 im guessing around 40 % many thanks.
 
Unless you are planning to go sli (don't know *** mobo u have) the 4850/70 seems to be a better option. Bout the same speed if not faster and probably cheaper too.
