GFX card upgrade suggestions

Hi,

Not visited these boards for quite some time and was just trawling for some advice on a reasonably priced upgrade for my current GFX card, not really wanting to spend much more than £150 or so.

Current setup is:-

Mobo :Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 Socket 1155 LGA
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 16GB 1600 Dual Channel (128 bit) DDR3-SDRAM
GFX card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti @ 900 MHz

probably a GTX960 I don't know about AMD

The 960 is a good suggestion. If going with AMD, the R9 380 is worth considering.

As said before, you will be choosing between a GTX 960 and R9 380 at this price point. I think GTX 960 is more obvious choice due to the 4gb vram.

Darn it, I didn't notice the 2gb of ram on the 380.

The Asus has 4gb, though their customer service isn't among the best. You could check with OcUK customer services to see what the deal is if needing to rma an Asus card.
