GFX card won't switch monitor on

My monitor won't come out of standby when using my X800 GFX card, just switched to onboard GFX and no problems. I would presume the card broken but as I dont have another PCI-E card to try I guess theres a chance the mobo is faulty. Either way both are out of warranty so its time to pay
Anybody had any experiance of this happening?

X800 out of warranty? have you checked up to be sure because many companys are 3-5yrs.

Its a Gigabyte silent pipe one. Not sure what warranty they offer but be sure i'm looking into it, I just checked the receipt, bought Feb 5th last year so only just gone 12 months old. Always suspected that heatpipe thing wasn't cooling properly!

Gigabyte (US) Graphic card's, i've found have a 3 year limited warranty (First 2 years parts & labor, 3rd year parts only)..

i would think the UK warranty would be much the same.
