GFX Memory Overheating? Or normal?

Hey,
I have a HIS 4870 512Mb FAN edition, I read stories about the fan going up in smoke after a few months so I changed it out with an AC Twin Turbo.
Before the twin turbo was fitted I got at idle: (On auto fan speed)
DISPIO 56*c
MEMIO 73.5*c
SHADERCORE 61*c

After the twin turbo was fitted I got at idle: (Full speed)
DISPIO 48*c
MEMIO 70*c
SHADERCORE 52*c

The other temps are good, but the memory's running a bit hot still isn't it? They've gone from completely uncooled (open-box stock, RAM heatsinks were missing) to having the Twin Turbo RAMsinks on them and only gone down a few *c, do they just naturally run hot?

Is it worth me just modding two rediculously powerful 92mm fans to the cooler?

Also, my CPU has an EVO blue on it with two 60CFM fans and is idling at 40~50*C, is this just a faulty temp sensor? the heatsink feels cool as... a cool thing.

Cheers :)

Maybe try reseating the cooler to see if that will help temperatures. Otherwise, ghetto cooling works great :D.

MEMIO is not the memory!
These are the little transistors by the voltage controllers.
You need to make sure they are covered and seated right on the heatsink!

Oh god lol, I feel stupid now, thanks dude :p

Haven't replied to this thread because the VRAM on the card failed, this new card runs equally hot but I cba to do something with it :p
