Hi,

I have a 2500K CPU and an old AMD 4890. I wouldn't mind playing a few of the latest games, especially the new Batman. I was considering picking up a 7950.

Will that be sufficient or are there better alternatives? Budget between £60-£100.

Pretty solid choice in that price bracket. To get something significantly better your looking at £130.140.00 or thereabouts.

As above, it will be a vast improvement. If you could stretch to £150 that would get you a 290 which would be much better, but that is quite a stretch to make. Either way, you'll be super happy compared to your current card. That cpu still has some legs so you need to balance out your system with a nice gpu.

7950/7970 will both be good. I've used them for years and they are still capable of producing good framerates across most games.
