Might be nice for a beginner who wants to dabble.

i noticed it has half the pressure levels although 512 still ain't bad.. looks spot on for the money. it's in my price league

whats it like for the money?
Was looking at the Intuous3 but ££

Worth getting one of these to see what i think or are they completely different in quality?

Intuous is pretty much the top dog, aside from the Vicom or whatever it's called (the one that is actually a monitor)

512 pressure levels is still loads to play with.

Seems to get good reviews, as mentioned less pressure sensitive than the Intuous range but should still be nice to work with.

This might sound really stupid, but do people use these when creating logo's etc?
That depends on the user; they're just an alternative input device like a ball mouse or touchpad. The benefits of pressure sensitivity, tilt and other tablet-specific features don't generally come into play when creating logos and web graphics, so there's little specific need to use one other than user preference. For digital painting, photo retouching and the like, tablets are more likely to be the preferred tool.
