Hi

I currently have an ATI Radeon HD4670 which has allowed me to play Counter Strike with an fps of around 125 max.

I know it's a cheap end of line card and want to upgrade, but unsure of running two card. And am not even sure I need a dual gfx system.

Any advice on card(s) would be much appreciated.

I do have a 1000w psu modular system, so think I have the power and adaptors necessary for modern cards

Motherboard Asus P7H57D-V EVO

Counter Strike Source is about the only game I play btw... but do occasionally check out new releases.

Thanks in advance

Ok

Thanks for all the advice.

It looks like I need to get a 120hz monitor rather than a new card. I didn't realise that although CSS says I'm getting 125 fps I can only see 60fps, the same as my refresh rate.

Next question is what monitor do I get? Currently got a 24" and would ideally like the same.

As for an SSD my system is quick with old skool hdd, but may upgrade in the future.

hope to get my fps up to 'smooth' soon!
