I've got the following kit inbound and tbh this is a mish mash of stuff.

I'll be using the Gigabyte board Atom CPU built in

I've got 2x1gb DDR533 on order but I guess I can only use 1 stick of that

IDE 160gb Drive for testing and SATA dvd for installation.

I'm thinking of installing freenas to the usb drive actually

PSU will be a OCZ 620W (talk about overkill)

Theres no case atm so will be testing on the open. I'm thinking of getting one from the competitor

Yer i've seen cases for £30 with built in 200W psus so thats what im looking for in the future, this will be testing phase only

I know there is 1 or 2 cases that could be used for file storage, but they certainly dont come cheap for M-ITX systems. I think also that 1x2GB sticks will work, but if its going to be running as a NAS only, will it really need that much..

Im not entirely certain on how FreeNAS works but even a slipstreamed XP install wont need that much RAM :D

I'm a big fan of nice cases so dont want to skimp but i'd rather not spend more on a case than the pc lol

Its here and works a charm.

I'm gonna buy a 4U rack case for this so its not longer applicable for this forum lol
