ghost master on steam (the 58 pence game)

Thought i'd give it a try for the price don't seem to work on my rig i get the ghost master has stopped working box and windows don't suggest any ideas to rectify it. tried with UAC off etc etc but no joy.

anyone on here got it working at all

I'm having the same problem, and we're not alone - there are three threads in the steam forum created since the sale started that each have several people with the problem.
Hopefully a solution will pop up.

There's a fix.
From the GoG Forum

Install this patch before you start a new game and you'll be able to go back to completed missions and use your newer ghosts in them.

http://www.ghostmaster.net/AllGhosts.exe

When you install the patch, it'll find the game's steam folder and ask whether you have the US or UK version. The steam version is the UK version.

After you install it, use the new shortcut on the desktop to start the game.

After I installed it I was able to start up, but I wasn't able to change the resolution or graphic quality.
I had set XP2 compatibility and disable aero on the ghost.exe file - when I removed them, I was able to change resolution.
You can't change resolution while playing, you have to hit ESC, Exit Game, and get back to the starting menu to change them. Just using ESC then Options won't work.
