try this

First you need to check in your Nvidia Control panel (Make sure your in Classic View or you wont see it) for an option to called "Frames to render ahead" and default is 3. Change it to zero and its fixed.

If you dont have the option you need to get "Coolbits 2.0" and install it. You then will have the option plus some you prolly have never seen there and also the ability to OC your video card. (Dont do that unless you know what your doing). Make sure you have the latest Nvidia Forceware before you do this.

u must suck then TBH mate ;)

its all about stealth and using your squad as back up and cover

what level of difficulty have you got it on ?
 
I wouldnt say it was about stealth that much, although thats probably what the developers intended.

You can take an M14 on every mission and snipe everything before it gets a chance to hit back. When you have to actually go inside whip out your secondary smg for close quarters.

Your team mates are useful for position behind cover ahead and spotting for your though. Although I never use them as snipers, mostly just as plain rifleman so they can respond quickly to incoming fire.

Although saying all that if you want to play to get the special stealth badges etc then try it as the developers intended.

Default.

I tell the squad to attack and they do nothing even when bad guys are near by.

I'll try that, I completed some objectives and that, never use the squad, dunno how to use them properly, tutorial was a mess.

happens to me too! i've tried replaying the mission but the same thing happened. I'm not too keen to play the mission again!
 
Its not a bug, what you have done is Play Mission, which in effect is just a single mission, hit continue, means u will need to do mission 2 again though.

As for the gfx im having a prob i have a bar/line on the left side of the screen

Is the AI on this game really as poor as is being mentioned on a number of forums. It must be, as that is the common theme when this game is discussed & its turning me off wanting to buy the game.

Can your AI squadmates do anything on thier own?
 
My grahics are working fine on XP, Must be a Vista/Driver issue.

Just crashed though, Freezed with what sounded like radio interference playing :(.

Well you will need to go back to the screen showing the missions, it shouls show ACT 1 with the 2 missionsmake sure the bottom one is highlighted ( should be white) but DO NOT hit play mission, press continue instead which will load up the 2nd mission

Sorry, but that's not the way it works on mine. I've completed the 2nd mission (recon in force), but at the end where i have the awards screen showing me my hit percentage etc, there is no 'next mission' button, simply a 'return to menu'. I click that, and i've still only got the training mission and the first two missions of act 1 available to choose.

I've tried highlighting various ones, and clicking continue instead of 'play mission', but all to no avail. I simply cannot get to the next mission. It's extremely frustrating. I've owned almost all of the R6 games and have always completed the single player before starting on multi...and i'd LIKE to be able to do the same thing here :(
 
You must be doing something wrong, as i had the same problem, it wouldnt continue from the 2nd mission, but that was cause when i played it i aborted as my sniper rifle didnt have a silencer and hit play mission to select my weapons.

The only other thing i can suggest is to find a save from the previous mission, preferbale at the end, load that up finish the 1st mission and hit continue/next mission on the score screen, dont use any saves from mission 2, mission 2 is failry simply if u have done it before think i was able to get thru it in under 30 mins on my second go.
 
On ACT II were you have to destroy the tank, how do you destroy it? I cant get near it, I shoot out all the soldiers near by then the tank is just left buy I cant go anywere else.

Get close to it and you will see the c4 icon, pnat it run away and destroy it
 
fixed my problem with not being able to see mission 3. Basically, there seems to be a bug that when you quick save, it saves as though you were just playing the mission as a stand alone. Ie i was loading from a quick save, which the game thought was me just wanting to play recon in force as a stand alone.

So all i did was go to the main menu, click continue, and then complete the recon in force mission WITHOUT loading from any of my quicksaves. On the next mission now :)
 
ive been playing this a fair amount, downloaded it and glad i did, its brilliant :D

graphics are stunning, apart from no AA, but meh, cant have it all

the gameplay i think is brilliant
