my friend has it on Steam, your rig will run it no problem but i dont think thats the issue you should be worried about. My friend said there is always disconnections online, the co op mode is not public so you will have to make friends or bribe your mates into buying the game. and i have read about Resolution problems (not being able to choose your native res) and crashing to desktop regular.

The problem I had with Max Payne 3 is that it's more like a film with interactive bits than a game. It's not as bad if you accept that early on, but if you want to play it more than once, you're forced to watch the cutscenes all over again. You can't skip them...

I'd go for some old school, fast paced action and try Tribes Ascend. It's not perfect, but it's fun to go fast!

And free...

Spec Ops multiplayer is craptastic though, I was playing and the map was so bright/contrast heavy I didn't have a clue what was going on. And the graphics sucked generally.

I'm sure the sp is much better though.

I have GR:fs I quite like it. Its got a fairly lengthy SP too which makes a nice change. 9 hours in so far.

There's not really any focus on multiplayer for Spec Ops, it's all about the single player.

It's not normal for me to spend weeks/months getting through a 6 hour game and it's incredibly rare for me to completely finish a game in a few days. I finished this in two days and really enjoyed it.

Don't get me wrong, it's not ground breaking and I won't be playing it again but the key point is that it's fun and the story is interesting.

GR FS all the way have it on xbox and on steam

great game with m8's, Spec op's is utter ****, i traded mine in a week later an got £22 for it.
Considering it only came out the Friday before an the trade in value says a lot for it!
