just downloaded and installed the game, boot it up, splash screen .... black screen...then back to desktop :'(
anyone got any ideas, ive installed it without avg and zone alarm running, any help?

No idea if this will be of help, but i noticed that it installs the PhysX software on your machine. I closed mine each time i loaded the game, you could always give that a shot.
 
My PC actually reboots when trying to play the GR:AW Demo. Managed to play it for 5 mins when I first installed it, but now it reboots when trying to load up the campaign :(
Might try removing the PhysX stuff and giving it a go.
 
sorry it is the demo lol, i dont do piracy, i like the shinny boxes :(

yeah im downloading it again from fileshack, got it from fileplanet the first time.
so fingers crossed, also update the xfi drivers online.
 
fixed it, used the autoupdate on creatives webby and now its all happy :D
worth giving this is a go if the same thing happens to you
 
Cancel the installation of the PhysX stuff. Its not needed & makes things run slower...

Cant wait for the full game to be released, demo's pretty good, hope full game has better graphics though (allows high settings) :D
 
hheheheehe the demo brought my poor pc to its knees, its definately the first time this has happened, i totally wasn't expecting that... and its not like my pc is even a year old
